Milly Green, Creative Wellbeing Specialist

As a Creative Wellbeing Specialist, Milly uses a multi-partial approach with clients, combined with an understanding of theoretical and clinical skills. Working with children, adolescents and adults, Milly’s therapy techniques are based on creativity. She facilitates healing conversations, explores metaphors, and encourages image making to communicate where words may seem difficult. With each client, Milly aims to gain personal insights, unblock people who feel stuck or caught in repeated patterns, reveal core feelings, discover past trauma, and open up new ideas with the ultimate aim of nurturing good mental health.

Working with groups in corporate settings, Milly supports professionals through their leadership journey, develops their presentation skills and builds good team dynamics. By creating opportunities for individuals to better understand themselves, Milly encourages people to bring their authentic self to work and to embrace empathy, improving communication and connection between colleagues.

In her Dyadic Developmental therapy sessions, Milly works with both parents and children equally, reconnecting relationships and allowing space for the parent to consider their own mental wellbeing. Using therapeutic skills, Milly creates opportunities for healing conversations between parent and child, and shines a light on what is working well.

Unconditional Positive Regard forms the core of Milly’s practice. Focussing on empathy without judgement, while building trust and creating a sense of safety, she uses art, storytelling, poetry, breathwork to help clients heal.
